MEET LAURA HERDE, OUR NEW RENOWNED MINDSET COACH!
Who is Laura?
Laura is coaching ambitious women in personal growth, holistic health, confidence, mindset mastery and lifestyle design. The signature methods she teaches inside of her programs have changed over 300 students' lives in the past 5 years.
Laura has a holistic approach to coaching and certifies aspiring, newbie as well as established coaches through "The Embodied Coach Academy", her certification program that she co-founded in 2021.
Her mission is to help boost positive energy and normalise doing the inner healing & mindset work.
We met with her and asked her a bit more about her journey.
When and why did you choose to become a mindset coach?
I never decided to become a Coach, to be quite honest.
I naturally showed up as a mentor for others when I started building my brand in 2015. This is when I started to share about all things mindset mastery, personal growth and self-healing.
I started receiving mentorship requests in early 2017 for the first time. In late 2018, I went full time with my business overnight, after finishing my university degree and before deciding to travel the world.
What always motivated me to help others was my passion for mental health and holistic well-being, since I suffered from depression for 3 years as a teenager.
What do you love the most about being a mindset coach?
Working with highly ambitious women who struggle with what I used to struggle with for so many years: low self-esteem, self-doubt, procrastination, perfectionism, emotional eating...
Helping them see incredible results in a short time feels amazing and so profoundly fulfilling.
What do you think are the biggest challenges for most people in their lives?
Balancing work and life, prioritising self-care, staying consistent with their habits and loving themselves unconditionally.
Why is mindset so important when it comes to fitness?
Your mindset is your foundation — it is your habits, willingness, and ability to commit to becoming your fittest and healthiest self.
When you doubt your abilities, have a negative self-image, practice disempowering self-talk or give in to emotional eating, then you will have a hard time reaching your fitness goals.
A strong mindset gives you the confidence, momentum and belief it takes to show up for your body consistently. Mental strength is the foundation for optimal physical fitness.
What is your fitness routine?
I do a mix of cardio, strength training and stretching to ensure flexibility, endurance, and to feel powerful physically. I love stretching in the morning, doing strength training in the afternoon and going on long walks in the evening. In between, I do admin work, create content or hop on client calls.
