What is the Empower Challenge?

EMPOWER is an 8 week challenge delivered through the top-rated LSF app.

The EMPOWER challenge is an absolute LSF classic that has been given a TOTAL REVAMP! EMPOWER is designed to do just that - empower yourself with the knowledge and all the tools you need to be able to level up your fitness, nutrition, and mindset. 

What's NEW in the Empower Challenge?

We have plenty of NEW features in the EMPOWER challenge!

- CREATE YOUR OWN RECIPE FEATURE: Yep, you read that right. You can ADD YOUR OWN RECIPE into your LSF meal plan! Add images of your recipes, ingredients, directions, and nutrition information to swap out an LSF meal on your meal plan for your own!

- Our very own LSF mindset coach - Laura Herde! For the first time EVER, we are utilizing the expertise of a world-renowned mindset coach to give you exclusive content to help you break through mental blockages and achieve the results of your dreams.

- FORM COACHING: Lauren will be directly responding to your videos to help perfect your form. Step-by-step exercise tutorials for every workout to ensure you complete each exercise correctly and get the most out of every workout.

When does the Empower challenge start and end?

EMPOWER officially begins on Monday June 6th, however, you can start up to 2 weeks late.

EMPOWER officially ends on July 31st, however, you will still have app access for an additional 2 weeks. 

What is preseason and do I need to do it?

When signing up to EMPOWER, you also get access to a 4 week PRESEASON for free!

Preseason is a 4 week training program and meal plan delivered through the LSF app that is designed to help ease you in, and get your body and mind ready for the challenge ahead.

You can log into preseason and start it as soon as you’ve signed up to EMPOWER, meaning you get to use the LSF app weeks before the challenge even starts! It’s a great way to familiarize yourself with the app, especially if you're new to LSF. Doing preseason is completely optional, though!

What are the workouts like?

There are two different workout options to choose from; Train Like Lauren or Express.

For Train Like Lauren, each workout targets specific muscle groups. There are 5 training days with the split of; 3 lower body days, 2 upper body days and 2 rest days.

If you choose the Express option, there are two full body workouts and one glutes/HIIT day so 3 training days in total. 

How do I choose between Train Like Lauren and Express?

You'll be able to select your choice within the LSF app, once app access for the challenge opens (Thursday 2nd May). 

Our Express training option is perfect for those who are time poor and struggle to do a workout on most days. These workouts also take anywhere between 30-45 minutes to complete. They have been programmed to ensure that you can still achieve the most optimal results and get the most out of each and every workout.

Train Like Lauren workouts have been programmed in a way that Lauren herself would train. These workouts are usually 45 minutes -1 hour long. 

What fitness levels is the Empower Challenge suitable for?

The challenge is suitable for ALL fitness levels, from beginners to more advanced. The workout features within the app also allow you to easily swap different exercises for something more suitable, depending on your fitness level and equipment availability. 

What equipment do I need if working out from home?

If you are planning on working out from home for the entire duration of the program, you will need a set of dumbbells (preferably two different sets if possible, one lighter and one heavier set), a long resistance band and booty bands

I'm a fussy eater - will I like the meals?

With over 900 recipes to choose from, you will be sure to find something you love- no matter how fussy you are! Some of the delicious meals which we have include; pizzas, pastas, salads, pancakes, oats, tacos, nachos, mug cakes, stir fry’s, burgers- just to name a few!

When do I get app access?

You can access the app as soon as you sign up and start the Empower pre-season. This will help to slowly transition you into the challenge and get a taste of what’s to come!

Alternatively, app access to the Empower Challenge specifically, opens on Thursday 2nd May. 

How do I join?

I’m glad you asked! You can SIGN UP NOW, through the LSF website. Once signed up, you will get a confirmation email. Then simply download the LSF app and log in with your email that you signed up with!
